What is your honnest opinion of J-pop and other pop music. I myself can see the appeal in the catchy melodies and cheesy themes but does it really compare, musically speaking, to your music, dream theater and other, more complex types of music(as in music that is not 3 chords repeated again and again and again and........)

Really now, is there ever any merit in comparing music??? Don`t waste your precious time on nonsense. If you like it, that is all that matters!
