Marty, First off, congratulations. I know it must have taken a lot of work to learn how to play like you do, and it's paid off with one of the most unique styles I've ever heard. It's one thing to shred, but a totally different plateau to make it sound good. Now for the question: who are your biggest influences? I know you're at a point where you're the 'influencer,' for a lot of people, but with all the diversity I've heard in your recordings, I've got to wonder ,"when he was starting, what helped to shape his style?"
