“LOUDSPEAKER” with the TOKYO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA!

Tower Records in Shinjuku,Tokyo was packed over capacity with fans who purchased the new album, “LOUDSPEAKER” to attend Marty`s autograph session on July 9th. The event had to be extended an extra hour to accommodate the unexpected large turnout. Marty will be doing another autograph session/performance Q&A at the Osaka (Umeda)Tower Records on July 23rd.


Marty is currently preparing for a televised performance of his music with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. More details to come!


"LOUDSPEAKER"  is currently holding the #20 chart position in Japan.

Marty is currently in the middle of extensive media promotion in Japan to promote "LOUDSPEAKER" .All complete details in the Japanese side.

The special first edition of “LOUDSPEAKER” contained one bonus track, a vocal version of “Static Rain”, ending theme of “Rock Fujiyama”. This edition was limited to the first 10,000 copies, which sold out on the first day of release. After those went, the standard version of “LOUDSPEAKER” which has an instrumental version of “Static Rain” was put on sale.


The leadoff track from “LOUDSPEAKER”, “Elixir” will become the new ending theme for the next season of “Rock Fujiyama”. A video was shot for “Elixir” on July 1.  


In TV news, Marty filmed 4 weeks worth of his segment with top model (and now singer) Shoko Nakagawa last week. Broadcast details in the Japanese side of this site. Marty`s performance with superstars Ayaka Hirahara and Tomomi Kahala on NHK`s “POP JAM” was rebroadcast on July 8th, further rebroadcast info in the Japanese section. Nippon Television`s “Uta Sta!” which is Japan`s answer to American Idol, features Marty weekly on the judges panel.
