new music, movie stuff and more
As we approach 2 MILLION hits (!) I'd like to thank all of you for enjoying this site and spreading the word about Marty's music. Especially those of you outside of Japan, we truly appreciate your support. You can be sure that Marty wants to play for as many of you as humanly possible!

Marty?s new song ?Street Demon? on the ?D1 GRAND PRIX? cd will be available soon! Release date is 3/16 on AVEX.
In the upcoming PLAYER magazine, Ayumi Hamasaki guitarist Yoshio Nomura and Marty tee off in ?Marty Friedman vs. Yoshio Nomura?, where the two of them debate the differences between Japanese and American rock, Marty's new music, Yoshio's new music and they also get into details about what it?s really like playing guitar for two of Japan?s most notorious superstars.
Marty to be ?surprise? guest on a brand new TV show to debut in April!! More to come?
3/11 Tokyo (Shinesezon Shibuya)
Marty will host a talk show at this ?RAMONES RAW? theatre premiere event with guest Marky Ramone who is promoting the new Ramones DVD ?RAMONES RAW? and the film ?END OF THE CENTURY?. A hardcore Ramones fan himself, Marty was the obvious choice to be asked to MC the event and interview Marky for the Japanese fans.
3/19 Tokyo (Shibuya)
Marty joins legendary bassist Hideki Samejima (HOUND DOG) and Pro Wrestler Takayama for a live talk show as they host the Japanese premiere of the MARTIN SCORSESE film ?Lightning in a Bottle?.
