first off i would like to say i respect you a lot you are a great guitar player and the best soloist i've heard. i wanted to know when its time to solo do you stop and think or do you just play whats coming to you fingers because your solos are very tech. and they amaze me, for instance skin o my teeth solos WOW!! did that come off the top of your head? thanks a lot for your time

Actually I worked that one out as well as most of what was on "Countdown", but most of all my other stuff with Megadeth was improvised. Guess what-if you solo over chord changes A LOT, and actually get used to following the changes, eventually the stuff you improvise will sound worked out.
