Marty, I bought one of your signiture Kelly"s a few years back. I just found out that it was made in the first run of the model . The Serial # starts with MF KE and then the #'s. I've contacted Jackson several time to find out what pick-up is in it , but they never respond. My guitar tech said that it's something different, because there are no markings on the pick-up. He told me that it has a gold back and that the poles are gold top to bottom. He said that's rare for the pick-up to have the gold back and that the poles are gold through out. It's a bad ass guitar, with great sound, and I love it. I would guess if your name is on the guitar you might have had an influence in the set up. Any help would be great. Thank you much.
