Title : Gear on a well-known Deth album

  QUESTION:

What guitar/amp/effects did you use for the recording of Rust in Peace? It's my favorite recording ever and I'd like very much to emulate a good portion of the sound.

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

What was used on "Rust.." was a Jackson Kelly which was later to be the blueprint for the Marty Friedman model (KE-1) various Marshall amps, and Crate 4x12 cabinets. There are no effects used on any of the guitar on the album. Sounds strange, but if you listen for them, they just aren't there.
