Hey Marty, before I get into my questions, I just wanted to say that you're a great inspiration in my guitar playing and my life in general. Unlike a lot of people here, I'm not here for life advice or for secrets on how to be a better guitarist. The way I see it, with enough practice, confidence, luck, determination, and a clear direction, I'll get where I need to go, whether it has to do with guitar or not. I just have a few questions that I've been thinking of lately. 1.) In the last month or so, I've developed an obsession with Perfume (J-pop not fragrance), so I was wondering which album or song of theirs is your favorite? 2.) I'm attempting to teach myself Japanese, so I was just wondering if you have any tips when it comes to learning the Kanji/compounds? 3.) Do you have any suggestions when it comes to Japanese folk music? 4.) If you were to do another Tokyo Jukebox album (here's hoping) what color would you choose for the Kabuki makeup? 5.) Last one. I saw a couple interviews with you on Youtube and in each one, the interviewer mentioned a Megadeth reunion, I was just wondering, do you ever get tired of people asking you that? It annoys me and I'm not even answering the questions. Anyway, sorry if the questions were too long or if there were too many. Sometimes I talk/write too much. Oh, and thank you for inadvertently getting me into BabyMetal. I checked them out after I saw a picture of you with them on Facebook. So good. 2.) I'm attempting to teach myself Japanese, so I was just wondering if you have any tips when it comes to learning the Kanji/compounds? Yes-physically write them as much as possible, preferably to a friend, either in letters, emails, IM`s, chats, anything. Just make using Kanji absolutely NECESSARY to get your point across. If you are not at that stage yet, get a basic kanji book and write, write, write and memorize. Best of luck.
